Accessibility Adaptations Help Reuben Return Home
Adaptations support accessibility at home after a life-changing accident
The Axis Foundation is supporting Reuben Sharp, our colleague at Axis CLC, following his serious car accident.
The Foundation’s Trustees have donated towards adaptations to Reuben’s home: specifically towards a stair lift and bathroom conversion to a wet room, helping make his home accessible when he leaves rehabilitation.

More about Reuben
Reuben is a Trainee Quantity Surveyor working in Axis CLC’s Walsall Division. He suffered a car accident in February 2026 and is now permanently paralysed from the chest down.
Before his accident, Reuben was completing his Quantity Surveying degree at the University of Wolverhampton alongside his work with Axis CLC.
Inspired by the determination Reuben has shown through his recovery, colleagues at CLC have been rallying to support him and his family as he rebuilds his life.
